One of the most popular tours of Lviv Region includes three amazing castles:
Olesko Castle – is a fortification that exists from the XIV century. The history of the building is extremely rich. Polish King Jan III Sobieski was born here and later the castle became the royal residence. Today the castle is generously filled with exhibits, beautiful interiors and interesting works of art.
Pidhirtsi Castle – one of the most beautiful castles / palaces in Lviv region. It has good fortification features, but its main function was a rest, what we can understand from the Latin inscription at the entrance.
Zolochiv Castle – one of the greatest monuments of Galician defensive architecture. It is located on a hill, for years actively performed defensive function. The castle stood lots of the Cossack, Turkish and Tatar attacks in the XVII century. Large and Chinese palaces with thick walls form an amazing Renaissance ensemble. Today the castle is completely restored and generously filled with historical exhibits, art, recreated interiors. In Chinese Palace there are the exhibitions of Asian cultures (presented by the art of Japan, China, India, etc.).
The excursion “Castles of Lviv Region” lasts during the whole day. You will be able to visit and explore each castle inside and outside and will be given free time to walk and take pictures. Also the tour includes a lunch break.
Show-tour “Lviv through the ages”
Welcome to non-standard show-tour “Lviv through the ages”. During this excursion you will walk through streets, see and feel Lviv in different ages with our 5 costumed guides. They will change their roles by meeting you in different areas, special for each of them, telling interesting legends, stories and jokes with dances, songs etc.
The story will be started by a burgomaster who will tell the participants about the City Hall, informative and exciting stories about Rynok Square hundred years ago.
Then, the excursion takes place on Staroyevreyska Street – the street where Jews lived and developed their business. The jewish man, Moysha, will tell you funny jokes, fascinating legends and you will understand who taught Lviv people to trade.
The next one who will cross our road is a beggar, baron of beggars. The beggar will tell the group of people about the pecularities of his profession. But, after some period of time a monk will appear on your way who will show the underground of one church. During this time, the stories will be told about monks, their hard work, legends about rewriting religiion books and so on.
After visiting the underground you will meet a funny “batiar”, singing a song and who will promise the monk to show you “spiritual” places. You will spend time by listening to exciting stories about festivals, different events and parties in Lviv and where you can have a great time. The excursion is ended by inviting all of you to taste our local beer for free.

Excursion “Underground Lviv”
Excursion “Underground Lviv” – is full of secrets and intersting places. Lots of our visiters do not know what Lviv hides under the ground. There are different secrets that you can only see by choosing exactly this tour.
Lviv is very famous for its legends and stories. To understand and feel them in real you must visit some places that are hidden under the ground. You will feel the atmosphere as if you lived many years ago.
During this excursion you will be able to see:
Pharmacy Museum – the oldest pharmacy in Ukraine. It is a thematic museum that has several rooms, courtyard and also some underground rooms where you can see the layouts of pharmacists in a working process.
Coffee Mining Manufacture – here you will hear interesting stories about Lviv coffee, how it is made and the ways it comes to Lviv. Under the ground you will see how modern fantasy is interlaced with ancient decoration elements. This is the best place to feel the real aroma of coffee and taste it.
Undergrounds of Dominican Church – one of the oldest undergrounds in Lviv. During the excursion you will be told about the man in honor of who is named our city – the Prince Lev. There are you can hear stories about his palace, love, witches etc.
Opera House – Have you ever thought that under this wonderful and amazing building still flows the only river in Lviv. You cannot see it while walking around the city. It is hidden under the Opera House. There are lots of stories how this incredible building was built on Poltva.
There are some other historical places and restaurants that are included in the tour. They are not less important that the above mentioned as in many places you will taste our national food, listen to the stories about ukrainian army, look at old army weapons and even take pictures in old thematic clothes.
Bus tour in Lviv
Bus tour in Lviv will acquaint you with the places that are a little bit far away from the city center but are not less important and interesting.
The excursion lasts for 3 hours during which you travel in the bus around the city and are able to see the places which are often missed by tourists. There are provided 3 stops, so, you can discover some sightseeings closer and take photos. These are the most famous places such as High Castle – an overview platform, from where you can see the whole city in its beauty, Lychakiv Cemetery – a unique necropolis, like an open-air museum, and St. George’s Cathedral – the main Greek Catholic Church of the city.
